About Us

Talent Impacts was created to deliver Talent Management consulting services to organisations and provide a Coaching service to individuals.

People management is critical to every organisation’s success – making sure they have the right people, in the right places at the right time, contributing maximum effective discretionary effort – but high-growth businesses and others undergoing transformation often do not have the in-house resource they need to advise them in this area. Talent Impacts delivers this expertise for as long as it is required.

A coaching approach to supporting leadership development at work and successfully addressing life challenges for individuals outside of a work context enables the client to maximise their potential. We undertake an initial scoping and chemistry session and use change focused coaching which is designed to have the desired impact over a short number of sessions. It is strengths-based and solution-focused.

Biography

Dr Paul Aldrich, DBA, MBA, BA, MCIPD, FHEA, PCert in Coaching

Managing Partner

Dr Paul Aldrich provides organisations with talent management consulting and, executive and career coaching. In addition to consulting and coaching for organisations Paul coaches individuals from a career and life perspective and supports teenagers as they seek to maximise their academic and extra-curricular performance.

He has over 25 years talent management experience covering banking, asset and wealth management, insurance and professional services across EMEA, APAC and the US. He started his career at Price Waterhouse in London and worked for the Chase Manhattan Bank in London and Hong Kong.

Paul was awarded a doctorate in business from Durham University which focused on talent portfolio/people risk management and the role and influence of human resource management. He also has an MBA from Durham where he is a Visiting Fellow at the Business School and is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management at the University of Roehampton’s Business School.

Paul is a Chartered Member of the CIPD, member of the Guild of HR Professionals, has completed the British Psychological Society’s qualifications to deliver occupational psychometric tests and is also accredited to deliver the NEO, Saville Wave, Firo-B, Myers Briggs and Hogan instruments for people selection and development.

He is undertaking an MSc in Coaching and Behaviour Change at Henley Business School, has been awarded their Professional Certificate in Coaching, and is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).  Paul has trained with Mind to support the management of mental health in the workplace, with Brief on solution focused coaching and he also uses cognitive behavioural coaching in his practice.

Paul is a Level 3 qualified Master Personal Trainer which combines physical training with advice on nutrition. He is an Academic Guidance Tutor and qualified counsellor for Childline. Paul has been widowed, re married and shared parenting for four children including pre-school, prep-school, day school, boarding school and university years.
